Mission: Promoting understanding and enjoyment of the arts among the citizens of the community

Overview: The Art League currently supports and assists the city in scheduling and exhibiting art in the Cypress Community Center Art Gallery. Visitors are always welcome and are encouraged to join in the many events sponsored throughout the year. Members bring examples of their art for judging at the general meetings and the winning entries are displayed on this website.

Sunday was the opening of our Autumn Art Show. We had well over 150 entries. It was exciting to see such beautiful work done by people in our neighborhood!

It was a wonderful weekend for the Cypress Art League! We gathered at the Community Center for an afternoon of art!
We enjoyed an exciting demo by Nevine! She created a few works of art by pouring a mixture of paint onto a canvas. Here you see the process and the end results.
