Last official day to look through the art & weird stuff at Studio 2091. 1:00-6:00.

First- HUGE thanks to John E. Crymes. You’ve been a driving force and one of my favorite living artists for many years now. I will always be grateful for your friendship and being studio manager.

Second- HUGE thanks to YOU, everyone who supported us the last 9 years. Your interest in the arts, your making the time to visit, your generosity of both time and finances, has meant everything to the entire art community. Your caring, has more affect on the arts’ future and it’s continued success than you probably know.

I was able to promise my showing artists 75-300 people attending their opening based on the crowds who loyally supported my galleries. Not many larger galleries can even hope to guarantee that, but with our loyal community, I could. Keep up the good work. Keep showing up. They don’t have the programming you dig? TELL them, they’ll change and improve if you tell them how.

Well, I’m home after an incredibly amazing last show, solo show at Studio 2091.
I am overwhelmed by how many incredible artists, friend & patrons who showed up. My heart could not be more full. One astounding moment, was when Patsy came and told me, she was pretty sure The Mayor of Cuyahoga Falls was in the gallery, that she was FB friends with him and knew what he looked like. So I walk that way to greet him and he presented a Proclamation stating that January 12, 2019 was Amy Mothersbaugh Day and thanked me for very specific contributions my family and myself have made to Cuyahoga Falls and Front Street. I was touched, he didn’t give me any get out of jail free cards- but he was sincere and absolutely thoughtful. It was great. I want to thanks everyone who attended, everyone who purchased art, everyone who brought gifts and everyone who signed the cockroach. We have had 9 amazing years. I seriously feel so many life long friendships were started here. We got a few weeks left- but I miss you all already.

When you visit the gallery this January, while The Alit Show is up, please look for the large framed watercolor cockroach and sign the mat. This is what you’ll see, thanks everyone.It is a supreme honor to have my first solo show at Studio 2091 AND be the last. I will be saying good bye to more than just a building and business. There has been a lifetime of memories accumulate at this address. See you all soon! ❤ Amy!

Amy will be at the gallery Dec. 21 & 22 if you want to stop in, pick up your wayward art or check out what I’m getting rid in preparation for closing the gallery after the final show in January. We will not have official gallery hours December 24-29th.
