From: The Desk of the President of the Tommy Johnson Blues Foundation - Vera L. Johnson Collins.

We would like to inform . Ours sponsors , blues lovers all over the world . That the TJBF has receive word from the Mount Zion Memorial Fund. That they are going to pay for a new “Headstone” for Tommy Johnson .
We are excited about this news , The foundation will be asking for donations for this new project , So when you receive your letter please donation .

We are working on a go fund me account, so that the road to the cemetery can be reopen.
The cemetery where Tommy Johnson is buried is 300 years old ,It hold a lot of history, there are other famous people that are buried there including .

Mr. George Washington, B. W Johnson a world war II veteran alone with Sally Wright a mid wives that deliver over a hundred babies in the community of Warm Springs.

This was a plantation that slaves brought in Virgina then transporter to what is now called Warm Spring, The church which was also the only school for people of color was set on fire in the lates 70’s.

This site go back into the 1700 , It is an important part of early history, We will be posting up dates as we begin this new project.
