An undated photo of Webster Cottage on Serpent Lake in Crosby. A widow named Bertha Tasker Webster (1869-1934) owned two large lots along what is now Lakeshore Drive in Crosby.

Every Monday during the warmer months, the Cuyuna Iron Range Heritage Network heads to gravesites in the Crosby-Ironton area and works to preserve local history by maintaining gravestones there. This past Monday, they were at Lakewood Cemetery in Ironton.
