The Cromwell Historical Society is proud to present 250 Voices: The Declaration of Independence read by the Community of Cromwell. The voices of 53 members of the Cromwell community have been combined with the choirs of Cromwell High School to create a reading of the Declaration that represents the people of Cromwell as we are in 2026.

Our declaration is ready! Just as in 1776, it took us all summer, but we are finally ready to premier 250 Voices: Cromwell's reading of the Declaration of Independence. The voices of 53 members of the Cromwell community have been combined with the choirs of Cromwell High School to create a reading of the Declaration that represents the people of Cromwell as we are in 2026. Join us this coming Monday evening, August 31st, at 6:00 for the first viewing of this monumental project. We are not requiring registration, but letting us know you are coming will help us plan!

Our declaration is ready! Just as in 1776, it took us all summer, but we are finally ready to premier 250 Voices: Cromwell's reading of the Declaration of Independence.
