Friends, we have received word that dredging of the Tangier harbor should be complete soon and we will open for our 2026 season on July 1st.

Due to the late season opening however we have decided to cut back to Wednesday and Saturday cruises only. We apologize for the inconvenience.

If you have already booked for a different day, you will be contacted shortly for either a reschedule of your cruise or a refund.

Again, we apologize for the scheduling issues and hope that you will still entrust us with making your day cruise to Tangier Island a great experience.

Dredging around the Tangier harbor began earlier this week and usually takes about two weeks to complete. We are hoping to open for the season earlier than expected.

Please stay tuned for updates. We will notify you of our exact open date as soon as we can be confident of the completion date for the dredging process.

Ever thought about having your next gathering afloat? You can charter the Steven Thomas for private, evening charters.

Choose your day and time, either 6:00PM to 9:00PM or 7:00PM to 10:00PM.

Private charters are priced by the number of people on board. For 50 passengers or less the cost is $1,800 with additional passengers at $25 per person. There is also a deposit of $400 required at the time of reservation.

Makes a great venue for parties, church and senior groups, corporate events and more.
