This past Monday the members of the Sketch Group began the hour drawing a still life: fresh apples in a straw basket lined with a checkered kitchen towel. Also shown are a couple of figure sketches. Our main focus is to practice drawing the human figure but sometimes it's good to mix things up a bit for a change.
If you'd like to join us, we meet every Monday at 10 a.m. Just bring pencil and paper. It's FREE.

We were happy to welcome two new visitors to the group. Besides posing for each other, one artist sketched a small summer bouquet of fresh flowers.
We meet in the back room of the gallery on Monday mornings and you're invited to join us. No cost, no advance sign-up is needed and gallery membership is not required. Just bring a pencil or pen and some paper.
