Amber Taney, Artist murals, paintings, multimedia and all thing DIY! My exploration of these themes relies on a focus on details and the contrast of light and dark.

In my work, I try to find authenticity in the whimsical and I am fascinated with the themes of life and death and good versus evil. I find that the versatility, the ease, and the speed allowed by working with both acrylics and ink permit me freedom to find the moment I am trying to portray. When I am finished with a painting, I feel a great sense of relief and catharsis. I love that feeling because it is the only thing that enables me to move on to my next project.
