Mineral County Mining Museum is seeking friendly and dependable employees for the Summer 2026 season. Ideal candidates will enjoy helping visitors, sharing local history and geology and working as part of a team. Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with tours and product questions, operating a point-of-sale system, maintaining cleanliness in the Gift Shop and Community Center restrooms, restocking merchandise, supporting inventory tasks, lifting 50+ lbs as needed, and occasionally helping with Community Center events such as Bingo, weddings, and fundraisers. Required skills include strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work flexible hours, with
preference given to applicants with retail or customer service experience, POS familiarity, knowledge of Creede history or geology, and basic cash-handling skills. Pay ranges from $15.16 to $17.00 per hour depending on experience.
