Us by Us presents WE MAKE BEER HERE (or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Commercial Art)—a show by Andy Sohoza.

It’s about beer. It’s also about looking at beer. Ideally, you’ll do both at the same time. The work traces Andy’s path through the soft machinery of commercial image-making, where desire gets branded, bottled, and occasionally enjoyed.

Bring friends. Bring your parents. Bring your neighbor’s dog if it has a decent attitude.

Opening Friday the 24th, 7–10pm. Afterward, we migrate to a slightly looser, slightly louder at Larry’s down the street.

This is a full volume tribute to Cincinnati’s long standing obsession with its hometown club. History, heartbreak, superstition, swagger. We want work that understands the ritual of it all.

Painters, designers, illustrators, printmakers, sculptors, image builders of every stripe. Step up to the plate. Swing hard. Bring us the pieces that feel like October even in July. From tight screen prints to strange dugout relics, if it lives somewhere between nostalgia and noise, it belongs here.

This Friday! Covington, KY — Us by Us Gallery is proud to present Delayed Flights, a group exhibition opening February 20 with a reception from 7–10 PM. This show assembles work inspired by birds, planes, and all things in the sky, an ode to flight’s poetry, its mechanics, and the charged space between takeoff and landing.

Delayed Flights reflects on the skies as a site of aspiration and interruption. Birds curve through air with instinctive ease; planes bridge distance with engineered precision, and yet, so often, our actual experience of flight is one of waiting, circling, and grounding. The artists in this exhibition explore these tensions through imagery that is at once symbolic, literal, and atmospheric.

Whether it’s feathers traced in ink or silhouettes of aircraft cut against sunset hues, the show gestures toward the ways movement and stillness coexist: the suspended moment before lift, the frustration of delay, the promise of the horizon.

The opening reception takes place Friday, February 20, from 7–10 PM at Us by Us Gallery, 801 Main Street, Covington, KY 41011. Doors are open to the public — all are welcome.
