Harrison County Adventure Walk

Harrison County Adventure Walk Read a story and explore nature along the newest section of the Indian Creek Trail connecting downtown Corydon and Hayswood Nature Reserve.

StoryWalk® Harrison County is a project of the Harrison County Step Ahead Council as part of CHEP, the Indiana Clinical and Transitional Services Institute's Community Health Engagement Program. The council intends to promote StoryWalks® throughout Harrison County, Indiana as a way to encourage parents, teachers, and caregivers to take young children out of doors for physical activity and to build

literacy skills. The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, Vermont and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition and the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. The cover photo on our page was borrowed from the Boston Children's Museum.
