We are always searching for up-and-coming artists, as well as musicians interested in sharing their talents.. There comes a time when Art stops being about the artist and becomes part of a larger picture. Debates on art have gone on for centuries, asking what is the true value of art? What is art for that matter? What is its purpose and what role does it play in today’s society? But despite this o
ngoing thread of unanswered questions, Art survives. Art continues to be viewed in museums, galleries, studios, schools, in the streets, and on the walls of our community. Artists continue to develop their styles and techniques, their passion and media, their relationships and networks. And as individuals, as artists, as art critics, as viewers, as writers, as historians, as anthropologists, among others, it is our responsibility to continue this process of creating this visual manifestation of ideas, emotions, and views. Luckily, the Undiscovered Gallery embodies this diverse set of individuals. We search for artists interested in sharing their work with the public. Viewership, art networking, and solidarity are but three of the reasons we encourage artists to exhibit at our gallery. Painters, photographers, video artists, performers, drawers, printmakers, sculptors, and ceramicists are all welcome into the space; a friendly environment where art is the essence of our imagination transformed from the abstract into the concrete. The Undiscovered Gallery displays works from distinct artists in San Diego and its neighboring cities. The exhibits consist of an array of media, scale, and imagery that different viewers can indubitably identify with. Therefore, if you are looking to experience a unique gallery, looking to buy that perfect piece of art that represents you, or just want to take a stroll through our halls to take a second to appreciate art, come on over.
