Since fall is upon us, I thought I would share a couple of paintings I did right after Bob passed away. These are not my normal colors I like to paint. I really had to stretch myself to work with fall colors. However, it was fun trying. Happy Fall Season!

I was also in another show the very next day, Monday, after the Carlsbad Village Faire show.
It was the Oceanside Museum of Art 2021 Open Juried Plein-Aire Show.
The artists who sign up have a week to paint
En Plein-Aire (outside) any subject they want in Oceanside. I have done this type of show in the past in San Clemente. It is such a good learning experience for me. I had a great time. You can submit 2 works of art for the juried show at the end of the week. I only finished one for submission. I am posting the one I finished and submitted for the show..

I was also on another show in Carlsbad the last weekend of July. The Carlsbad Village Faire is a huge show. An estimate of 1000 vendors are usually in this show. However after being canceled last year due to Covid it was smaller this time. Also the show is normally the first weekend in May but was moved to July for this year. I had a great time and a wonderful show!

I was in the Carlsbad Art in the Village Fine Art Show the last weekend of June. Because of Covid the show was canceled last year. So it was exciting to be in the show again. It is a great Fine Art Show with many beautiful works of art being featured. I am looking forward to next year's show!

The surfing event at Huntington Beach is
Vissla World Junior Surfing Championships.
The finals weekend are November 2nd-3rd.

I am selling at the Huntington Beach Pier this weekend.
This morning started off with a parade. It is the beginning of the Vissla International Junior Surfing Championships.
There are representatives from all over the world. USA of course, Italy, France, UK, Irsrael, Costa Rica, Japan, Portugal and many many more counties.
Here is brief video of the opening ceremonies.
I actually took a lot of videos but they didn't turn out.
