Once again, RapidoTrains has hit the mark with their second run of HO Scale GE 44 tonner switch locomotives.
Included in this run is a locomotive from the rarely modeled Pacific Electric Railway.
Very smooth operationing , with great sound and excellent detailing. A must for any PE fan.

Yesterday, several members of the Corona Model Railroad Society had the privilege of visiting fellow member Mike Allred's HO and N scale home layouts. Mike has two highly detailed layouts, and it was fantastic to take in all of the eye-catching, well-done work. Thank you to you and your family for hosting our club.

The work continues on the scenery upgrades to Santa Ana canyon section of Corona Model Railroad Club .
( AKA... Corona Model Railroad Society )
The test backdrop of the Corona foothills seen from area of the former AT&SF, now BNSF Railroad bridge is in place and looks good.

Located to the side of the Santa Barbara Station is former SP private car #142.
The plague in front of it details how two private car spurs were built at the same time as the depot,1905. Wealthy folks would winter here, using private railcars. That all came to an end just around the Great Depression.

Several members of the Corona Model Railroad ( CMRS ) are off on a rail adventure today
Thanks to some passes donated by Metrolink to our club, we ventured first to LA Union Station.
Then, via Amtrak along the former SP Coast route to Santa Barbara for lunch.

The yearly Antique & Craft Faire at the Corona Heritage Park and Museum was this Saturday.
Corona Model Railroad Club ( AKA....Corona Model Railroad Society) was open extra hours today for the folks attending to enjoy our club.
