📣 Artist Opportunity Alert!

Cloud Croft Studios and Tioga Arts Council (TAC) announce a Call for Entries for Everyday Life, Every Day Art (ELEDA), an annual juried, regional exhibition.

🌟 The objective of ELEDA is to demonstrate that when the arts thrive, the community thrives. A portion of ELEDA sales support TAC's Beyond the Gallery programs, such as Art a la Carte.

📆 Live Jury Submission & Drop-off Dates: August 1-3, from 12-4pm
📍 Cloud Croft Studios – Barn, 1003 Sanford Rd., Owego, NY
🏆 Cash prizes are available, including a Best in Show prize of $1,000, and 15 additional cash prizes.

🌟 Works sold during the ELEDA exhibition will be split at 80% to the artist, 20% to TAC. The objective of ELEDA is to demonstrate that when the arts thrive, the community thrives.

Elmira Infinite Canvas - Mural Fest 2026, hosted by Community Arts of Elmira, celebrates artists' installation of public murals that uplift blank or blighted spaces, transforming these spaces into vibrant, interactive community places!

🎨 Art-making - 2026 marks a new Community Stenciling feature for teen/adult volunteers

🎭 Centre Stage Community Theatre is proud to present Perfect Arrangement in celebration of Pride Month! 🌈

🎨 ARTS Council Artist Members Anastasiya Fluegel and Chris Donaho announce an upcoming art and poetry pop-up event, The Art of Falling (into place). Meet the artists, and enjoy a fusion of art, poetry, and music. 🎶

✨ Most recently, Anastasiya's paintings were featured in Beyond Words Magazine and the cover art for Quiet Underpinnings, a collection of poetry by local poet Aleathia Drehmer.

In addition to painting and carpentry, Chris Donaho has published several books, including These Plastic Boats Are Melting: A Collection of Poems and Magick. ✨

💫 This project was powered, in part, by an Artist Development Grant funded by the Community Foundation of Elmira-Corning and the Finger Lakes, and administered by The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes.

🌟 The ARTS Council is excited to share projects that were created during this year's Spring Into Creativity program!

🎩 👏 Hats off and clapping hands for the local youth in grades K-12 who've creatively transformed mundane materials into one-of-a-kind pieces of art.

🌿 🎨 Spring Into Creativity is a youth upcycled art competition as part of The ARTS Council's celebration of National Youth Art Month. The program is deeply collaborative, including partnerships with Southeast Steuben County Library and Steele Memorial Library to display students' creations. Corning ReStore provides each student with a gift card to gather project inspiration.
