Well school has started and I'm super excited about my kiddos and my year. Now I turn my attention to doing my own art for a bit to get work into the "Market Greenhouse and Garage" in Seneca and the "Treasure Chest" in Frankfort...jewelry, cards and other items...so I'll be displaying new items soon...Have a Wonderful Weekend!!!!

These are two pieces I made last fall...The one with the soldier is a tribute to my great uncle Leslie Davis who as a young man went to France and fought in WWI and died. He is my unsung hero...(this painting has been displayed in 2 Veterans Day Celebrations).

Just went to a great Visual Thinking Stratiges 2 day training at the Beach Museum at KSU and it was really excellent. I will be going to several more art workshops over the summer but am going to turn my efforts toward my art and refreshing my booths in Seneca and Frankfort and working on my Classroom and all the preparation for an additional course and a exciting coming year at Onaga. Lots and lots to do...and I love it...I see my kiddos (students) all the time and they sure inspire me to do more. So I hope to be posting more of my work also.

Want to thank Clara who hosted the Fall Fling event...it was a lot of fun on a beautiful fall evening. We had a great crowd. Thanks also to my good friend Phyllis and also my wonderful suprise from my long time friend...Lynne...I am so very Blessed...and more shows are coming up in November...21st and 22nd, in Wetmore and Seneca...so keep visiting and please come and see us at these shows...

I'm so excited about being a guest vendor at the Fall Fling at the Market Greenhouse and Garage in Seneca, Kansas with Clara Reinecke on September 11th, 2015 from 5-8 pm....I'll have my framed and matted photography there and my handmade and photography greeting cards there...Hope you come see all the fun and varied creative works...
