It is so important to always be challenging yourself and thinking outside the box– that is why we are excited to have KC Improv Company joining the Institute for Cultural Entrepreneurship!

By studying and practicing improvisation, they have found ways to develop and improve specific skills that organizations would like to improve, but don’t always know how. They lead team-building and other training sessions that are designed to have fun, unleash creativity and look at institutional challenges in new ways!

See you in July KC Improv Company!

Randy Wisthoff has been Executive Director / CEO of the Kansas City Zoo since 2003, witch sees over 900,000 guests each year! Prior to taking the helm in Kansas City, Wisthoff served at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, NE for 26 years.

During his tenure in Kansas City, Wisthoff has taken major steps to secure long-term funding for the Zoo. He spearheaded a $30 million bond package for deferred maintenance and new exhibits, and with his board directed a campaign that resulted in the creation of a Zoological District in Jackson and Clay Counties in Missouri.

We are so excited to have Wisthoff at the Institute for Cultural Entrepreneurship in Kansas City this July!
