Our mission is to create new generations of lifelong learners! Our Exhibits:
Behind EdVenture’s doors, we are proud to have nine world-class exhibit galleries, a library, learning laboratories, resource centers and other visitor amenities. Two additional outdoor gallery spaces are located just outside the museum’s front doors. Within the total 92,000 square feet that is EdVenture Children’s Museum, there are more than 350 individual hands-on exhibits.

Before dinosaurs, discovery, and hands-on exploration filled the space, there were months of planning, designing, building, and installing to make it all possible.

We’re so grateful to our friends at .group for their incredible work bringing the vision for Fossils to Futures to life. Their creativity, expertise, and attention to detail helped transform ideas from our team into an immersive experience where children and families can explore dinosaurs, sustainability, and the future of our planet.

Since opening, Fossils to Futures has quickly become a visitor favorite, and we’ve loved seeing families explore, create, and discover inside the experience every day. 💚

🩺🐻 Join us and Prisma Health for a day of hands-on learning as children step into the role of caregiver at our Teddy Bear Clinic.

Bring your favorite stuffed animal and visit interactive stations where your furry friend can have their vitals checked, receive X-rays, and more.

Along the way, children will explore what happens during a doctor's visit through play and discovery.

Prisma Health Children’s Hospital and EdVenture Children’s Museum are teaming up again to host the Teddy Bear Clinic on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at EdVenture Children’s Museum in downtown Columbia.

Designed for children and their favorite stuffed animals, the Teddy Bear Clinic provides a fun, interactive experience that helps young patients become more comfortable with healthcare settings.

This hands-on event allows children to bring a favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal to receive gentle “medical care.” Through imaginative play, children can see their comfort toy examined and treated, helping ease fears they may have about their own future healthcare experiences.

The Teddy Bear Clinic is included in admission to EdVenture for Saturday, August 15.
