U.S. Army Finance Corps Museum U.S. Army museum dedicated to the history of the U.S. Army Finance Corps. The U.S.

Army Finance Corps Museum began as a hallway display during History Week at the Army Finance Center (now DFAS-Indianapolis) in 1954 under the direction of Major General Bickford Sawyer. For the next 40 years the museum was under the direction of the Finance Center until the Base Realignment and Closure Act of 1994. At that time the Army began to close Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana and the Museum

relocated to Fort Jackson, South Carolina in 1996 where it reopened and has remained to the present day.
