National Watch & Clock Museum

National Watch & Clock Museum Largest museum in the world tasked with presenting our shared art, history and science of time and time keeping.
(314)

The National Watch and Clock Museum was officially opened to the public in 1977 with fewer than 1,000 items. Since that time, the collection has increased to over 12,000 items and the museum has undergone several expansion projects. The latest expansion opened in October 1999 and featured an entirely new and redesigned exhibit space, as well as a new two-story addition. Today, the museum is recognized as the largest and most comprehensive horological collection in North America.

The NAWCC has been monitoring the evolving challenges due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus. A top priority is the safety of our employees, members and community. Effective today, March 14th, the museum and library are closed to the public as a precautionary measure until further notice. Administrative staff are working from home to assist members with questions, research, etc. We will notify you once we open to the public. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Will you be honoring Groupon coupons if they run out of date while your closed?
Visited your museum years ago and enjoyed it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRE7HyleV44 Before you could carry thousands of songs in your pocket, there were CD players, cassettes, and eight-tracks. Before that, there were record players and gramophones. Even before that, there were orchestrions. Take a look at the installation of the National Watch & Clock Museum’s new orchestrion or, better yet, come see it in person at 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM. The Museum is open from now until March 31 on Wednesdays through Saturdays from 10 AM to 4 PM (last admission at 3 PM). Starting on April 1, the Museum will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 AM to 5 PM (last admission at 4 PM). Adults $12; Seniors (65+) $10; Children (6–16) $9; Children under 5 are free.
This is the watch I carry when I portray Wyatt Earp. It belonged to my Great great uncle's father. It was given to my great great uncle when he became a dentist. It was told to me by a watch maker about 45 years ago, that he believed the watch was from the early 1870's... Does anyone have any information on the Company, H.A. Bedel? Cannot find it on the internet.
I saw an ad on Groupon for discounted admissions to this museum. However, i could not complete the purchase. I wonder if the ad is for a legitimate discount???
