Heritage Festival Canceled Due to Weather ⛈️

It's with heavy hearts that we're canceling this year's Heritage Festival, scheduled for this Saturday, October 3.

Forecasts continue to call for severe thunderstorms and heavy rain throughout the day. In all the years of the Heritage Festival, we've never had to make this call. But the safety of our vendors, volunteers, and visitors comes first.

Thank you to everyone who planned to be part of this year's festival. After the rain, we'll look for a rainbow and start planning next year's Festival for Saturday, October 2, 2027! Mark you calendar now! We hope to see you all there!

Currently on exhibit at The Marion County Museum are several hundred new photos from the BB. Bradley Collection of negatives. This exhibit will remain up through mid December. At that time a Railroad History Exhibit with model trains and Holiday Villages will be installed. The museum is FREE and hours are Thursday & Friday 9:00 to 2:00 and on Saturdays at 9:00 - 5:00. The museum is located at 200 Second Street at the west end of Second St. in the old train depot. 601-731-3999.
