Susquehanna Center for the Creative Arts

Susquehanna Center for the Creative Arts The Susquehanna Center for the Creative Arts was established to promote the visual and performing arts in Central Pennsylvania. The public is welcome.

The Susquehanna Center for the Creative Arts was established in 2011 to promote the creative arts in South Central Pennsylvania and the surrounding region. Located at 224 Locust Street in Columbia, PA, the SCCA is centrally located to Dauphin, Lancaster and York Counties. The SCCA is also in close proximity to Baltimore, New York City and Washington D.C. We provide studio space for Heroes 4 Ransom

, a regional, rock based band, . We host receptions for our group shows every Fourth Friday in the Galleries. Our mission is to promote the creative arts through education, exhibitions, performance opportunities, community outreach, workshops, and residency programs. In addition, the Susquehanna Center for the Creative Arts creates and promotes interdisciplinary projects for all age groups. Recent community outreach programs include GEARS and Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Lancaster County. We will reopen at our new location at 224 Locust Street on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 5 p.m. A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 5:30 p.m. A reception will follow for our first show in the new space," Mountain." I am making some of my clay relief pieces available at below wholesale prices. They are Stoneware and I utilized some of my glaze research on these works beginning in 1981. The works for sale are from my series, "Harrowed Fields" , which I exhibited at the Rose Lehrman Gallery, Harrisburg Area Community College in
2014. They are wall pieces. They are very nice collector's pieces.
1. "Seismic" Stoneware, 31 h x 22.5 w x 3 d inches
2. "Figure" Stoneware, 37.5 h x 23 w x 4 d inches
3. "Red Lake - We Borrowed the Buick Wildcat" 35 h x 19 w x 2.5 inches

The new offerings are quite different, using a digital design I did of a Lancaster County Farm and some Local Cows. The place matts and table cloth are quite nice. We think all the scarves are really exceptional. The quality is excellent!
