Barn Quilt Tours of Carver County MN Tour with us as we travel across the beautiful countryside of Carver County, MN exploring the open-air art gallery of Barn Quilts!

Welcome to Barn Quilt Tours of Carver County, MN. The Barn Quilts of Carver County project was started in 2011. To date, 25 quilt blocks have been installed. Barn quilts are 2 pieces of 4'x8' plywood painted and framed. Patterns are chosen for their color and design, but most often reflect family heritage or a family heirloom quilt. Framed and ready to mount, each quilt block weighs approximately

250 pounds. As community service, Minnesota Valley Electric Co-op donated the man power and equipment. Tour with us as we explore the beautiful countryside of Carver County, MN. In the comfort of a coach bus, learn local history and vignettes about the farms, barn owners and their barn quilt patterns. My guided tours divide Carver County's quilt trail into three different adventures - including stops at local wineries, breweries, orchards and an organic farmer's market.

We kicked off the 2026 Tour Season, in May, with the Waconia Senior Center. Great group of gals! Had a charming lunch in the barn with box lunches catered from Mackenthuns. Made stops at the Historic Andrew Peterson Farm and Parley Lake Winery to name a few! If you're interested in a tour, please reach out!

Our fire department will be setting up tonight at 5:45 in the parking lot of All Saints Church this evening to honor Captain Bianchi as he is escorted through NYA enroute to New Ulm to his final resting place.
