Hello Folks, I hope you're having a wonderful day and looking forward to enjoy cooler Fall temperatures. Please join me this weekend (10 AM -5 PM both days) when the streets of Colfax, CA, will return to the days of the 1860s, celebrating the important role Colfax played in the construction of the Transcontinental Railway.
Be sure to swing by my Art Booth at the end North Main Street near the the delicious food vendors. I will be handing out Guide Books for the Placer Artists Tour and displaying my recent Train Painting titled "Number 9 Rolling into Colfax" along with many other Original Watercolor Paintings, Fine Art Prints, and Collector Greeting Cards.
You might also like to observe one of the Painting demonstrations that I'll be doing at my Art Exhibit throughout the day.
There will be lots food, great music, and and other Arts & Crafts vendors. Still, more importantly, there will be 1860s re-enactors, displays from the Native Sons of the Golden West, the Mormon Militia, full-size rolling stock from Union Pacific, model train displays, and street performers bringing back the days of sh***un weddings, gunfights in the streets, bank robberies, saloon girls and snake oil salesmen.
