Malihini Couture

Malihini Couture Preserve | Inspire | Fashion Malihini Couture (mä-li-ˈhē-nē ko͞oˈto͝or), is a new 501c3 non-profit organization.

Our mission is to preserve the arts of the Polynesian-Pop era (1930s – 1980s). We began by focusing on vintage fashion – sewing patterns, textiles, and accessories – but our vision has quickly expanded to encompass the collective whole of Polynesian-Pop arts. Our endeavor is to preserve the stories of exotic lands carried across a vast sea during a time before cell phones, computers, and readily a

ccessible air travel. These stories blossomed into an intoxicating sub-culture of stylized art that speak to the beauty and allure of the Polynesian Islands, the Polynesian culture, and the Aloha spirit. Our goal is to collect, preserve, display, educate, and inspire. We envision an immersive center that not only archives and exhibits these arts but also empowers emerging artists through yearly fundraising competitions culminating in various art discipline scholarships. While we work toward a brick-and-mortar exhibit and office space in spring 2026, we are excited to announce the debut of our vintage and resale booth! You can find us at Parrot’s Cove Mall in historic Cocoa Village, Florida, starting Tuesday, September 2, 2025. How You Can Help
