Hello friends of the Cloudcroft Art Society (CAS)!
We hope you saw some of our members at Art and Wine in the Cool Pines this past weekend. They had a really good art show at our annual Train Depot location next to the display caboose at the Museum.

Next up for CAS is our annual Fundraiser on Saturday August 15, 9 to 3 (or 2). All information is in this flyer -
"Things Art" are featured - art supplies, frames, books, donated pottery, donated paintings, etc.
Funds raised pad our Treasury and allow us to teach and present art in the community.

After this, look for our *Labor Day Art Show* also in the big back Community Room in the old Red Brick building - Friday afternoon Sep 4, Saturday Sep 5, 10 to 5, Sunday Sep 6, 10 to 3. All one-of-a-kind works from our local artists. There should be art for tables - pottery, pine-needle baskets, candles, folk art, other decor - and art for walls - framed original photography and digital art, framed original paintings, in all media, matted and framed reproductions, cards. Images mostly feature area landscapes, wildlife, architecture, gardens, and others..

To follow up on the poster that publicizes our Cloudcroft Art Society 4th of July 2026 Weekend Art Show/Sale, here are photos sampling how this year’s show looks! You can see how 15 fine artists have filled the big back Community Room of the Old Red Brick Schoolhouse (sharing with the Library). It’s a fun location, with the ringing of the Old Schoolhouse (“Liberty”) bell and the Parade going by after noon!

Hi everyone, and Happy 250th 4th of July! 🇺🇸🥳
CAS is hosting our annual 4th of July Holiday weekend Art Show and extra-day Gallery opening - please see the details on the flyer:
There will be over a dozen of us exhibiting and selling a variety of art works from framed paintings, photography, and reproductions, to pottery and carved gourds, to art cards and other art gifts. The Old Red Brick building will be one of the centers of Cloudcroft festivities, along with B***o Street businesses etc. The parade will pass us on Sat July 4th. Yippee!

Our fine local monthly paper is featuring our Cloudcroft Art Society this month - and just in time for our 4th of July Holiday show from Friday July 3 (12 - 4) - Saturday July 4 (10 - 5) and Sunday July 5 (10 - 3)- in both our gallery and the big community room in the Old Red Brick Building which we share with the Library - come and enjoy art in your summer holiday! Also, our CAS Gallery is open every Saturday until winter, hours are now 11 - 4 to better match the new Saturday Library hours.

I learned about Michael's passing last night. We have lost a kind, generous, and talented local painter of whom we can be so proud, and the recipient of a major artistic legacy from the families of both his Hurd and Wyeth parents. I value my memories of painting with him and seeing him on some of our visits to the gallery. Sentinel Ranch and the Gallery will be closed for a spell.
