The Felix Adler Children's Discovery Center, an independent children's museum in Clinton, Iowa, is a non profit 501(c)(3) organization in existence since 1993. It was founded to honor Felix Adler, a native to Clinton and a famous Ringling Bros. The Discovery Center is run by professional staff and hundreds of volunteers. They depend on support through charitable contributions and sponsorships. Gen

⭐️Here are soooo many wonderful photos from a weekend learning about the miracle of the monarch. We released 27 with Monarch Watch tags on them these last couple of days — any monarch born after August 16, at our latitude, will be among the generation to gather with others and migrate to Mexico for the winter. (We had released another 30 or so earlier in the summer:). There are still many caterpillars and chrysalises in our habitat at the Discovery Center so stop by anytime to observe and enjoy! Thank you to all the monarch lovers who help keep this tradition going!🧡🖤

🙂We💪Made🍨Ice Cream! We followed the 🗒️recipe… we added the 🥛ingredients… we mixed 🧊ice and 🧂salt to lower the 🥶temperature… we had to 🫨shake shake shake (shake shake!!)… and 🎉🎉🎉finally: yummy ice cream we made ourselves!😃
Funtime Friday & Saturday is a time for kids and their grownups to hang out together and have some fun👍
