Nocoj je potekal velikanski dogodek ob otvoritvi razstave o življenju in delu Georga Vojnoviča, slovensko-ameriškega politika in povezovalca z naslovom: Skupaj zmoremo!
Po otvoritvi razstave, ki je nastala s pomočjo Globalnega Clevelanda, Vojnovičeve šole za vodje in javne storitve ter Vojnovičeve zbirke z Univerze Ohio in Slovenskega muzeja in arhiva, se je v Slovenskem narodnem domu odvil tudi forum, kjer so sodelovali Elisabeth Sullivan, Rev. dr. E. Theophilus Caviness, Timothy Cosgrove, Faith Voinovich, Michael D. Polenšek, program pa je povezoval odlični Joe Cimperman. Hvala vsem, še posebej prostovoljcem, ki ste namenili svoj čas, da se je več kot 200 ljudi lahko družilo in povezovalo.
Tonight, a major event took place at the opening of an exhibition about the life and work of George Voinovich, a Slovenian-American politician and unifier, titled: Together We Can Do It!
After the opening of the exhibition—which was created with the support of Global Cleveland, the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service, the Voinovich Collection from Ohio University, the Slovenian Museum & Archives, and Cleveland Kurentovanje -a forum was also held at the Slovenian National Home.
The forum featured Elisabeth Sullivan, Rev. Dr. E. Theophilus Caviness, Timothy Cosgrove, Faith Voinovich, and Michael D. Polenšek, and the program was excellently moderated by Joe Cimperman.
Thank you to everyone, especially the volunteers who dedicated their time so that more than 200 people could gather, connect, and socialize.
