The Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum is located in University Circle at the Cleveland History Center, which is part of the Western Reserve Historical Society.

The Crawford has 170+ automobiles, 12 airplanes, plus motorcycles and other transportation items.

It may be cold and sleeting today, but it’ll be sunny and 71 this Saturday…perfect weather for one more drive in your special car or a ride on your motorcycle. But where to go? We suggest our preservation facility at 7950 Empire Parkway in Macedonia, OH. From 8 a.m. to noon, we’ll have coffee and donuts for purchase, free parking, tours and a chance to chat with the amazing volunteers who preserve automotive history. Hope to see you there!

If clocks and watches had never been invented, do you suppose driver’s ed would still teach people to grip the car steering wheel at “10 and 2?” And exactly where is “10 and 2” on a digital watch? (We’ve got you thinking now, don’t we?) You can learn more about the relationship between watches and cars with Sean Johnson of Hindman Auctions at the Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum on Saturday, May 14. Mr. Johnson will give a presentation at 10 am, and will then be available until 3 p.m. to evaluate visitors’ timepieces for $5.00 per watch (three pieces maximum).
