Terry Lee the Supervisor of Education at FCI Yazoo City Federal Correctional Institution, invited Emily Jones to speak at their administrative staff and management lunch. There were various Asian appetizers and entrees prepared by inmates in the culinary arts training program. This luncheon is an annual event during AAPI month to learn more about the culture and heritage of the Delta Chinese. We are thankful to get the opportunity to tell the story of the Delta Chinese.

We congratulate Dr. Kameron Chow - Class of 2023 University of MS School of Pharmacy!

Kameron, the son of Joy Woo-Chow and the late Tim Chow, attended Cleveland High and graduated from the MS School of Math & Science in 2016. He worked as an Executive Archival Assistant at the Capps Archives & Museum at Delta State University during the summers of 2016 - 2020. For his Eagle Scout project, Kameron researched proper preservation techniques in order to make the Chinese characters and names more legible on the Cleveland Chinese Mission Church cornerstone.

We are proud of his accomplishments and wish him much success and happiness.
