Clearwater KS Historical Museum Open Sundays 1-4pm unless a holiday weekend, or by appointment.

The Clearwater Historical Society Museum was founded in 1991 and houses collections dating back to the founding of Clearwater, KS in 1885 and its origins as a trading post stop on the Chisholm Trail from 1865-1874, and the people who lived nearby.

Built in 1884 The Denton Hotel was built on the northeast corner of Ross and Byers. Also called at one time Ross Avenue Hotel. It closed in 1932. Clearwater also had the City Hotel located on the southwest corner of Ross and Tracy.
