I MADE THE SEMIFINALS and won 1st place in my group. 😭🎨❤️ mind blowing 🤯
Well round1 is over… and somehow I made the Top 20 out of thousands of artists. 🥹🎨
This week they’ll cut 5 more artists, and somehow I’m still standing in this thing because of all of you.
It’s set up kind of like American Idol — each round narrows it down more and more based on votes. I made it through Round 1, and now I’m in the next round with the Top 20. This week, they’ll cut it down to 15, then it keeps going until the finalists are left. So yes… I’m basically in my art contest era, and I need your votes! 🎨😂
What many people don’t know is that for four years, I could not walk. In October 2025, I had my 7th surgery, and there were times I truly didn’t know what my future was going to look like. I couldn’t do the things I loved, photography stopped, and honestly I lost a part of myself for a while.
Then I found painting.
Painting became therapy for me. It quiets the noise in my head, helps me escape stress, and brought joy back into my life when I needed it most. It gave me purpose again.
So every vote, every share, every sweet message, every person tolerating my nonstop “please vote” posts 😂 truly means more to me than you know.
And the coolest part is that donations from this contest go directly to a real charity helping people, which makes this whole experience even more meaningful.
I also have two friends in this contest who are incredibly talented, and honestly if I don’t win, I hope one of them does. There are so many amazing artists involved, so being in the Top 20 already feels unreal to me.
But yes… I would absolutely LOVE to win this thing. ❤️For the first time in a very long time, I genuinely feel hopeful about the future and the possibility of maybe becoming a full-time artist one day.
