A few years back I did an illustration for Grainger that involved working with a fire station in Illinois. After the job was finished I framed up a print of the art and gave it to the crew. They were all so gracious helping me collect all the reference I needed and insisted I come by the fire station for dinner with them. "I Love My Job" 😀

This is a simple digital illustration I did a while back for Grainger that took about 30 minutes on the Mac. 25 years ago before the Mac was commonplace this art would have taken a day, cutting masks with frisket, mixing paints for the airbrush and it would look pretty much the same. The difference is the art lost its monetary value. Oh well, that's progress. 🥹
