Annalee Parker is a Clarksville based illustrator, designer and artist whose work explores storytelling, symbolism, and the relationship between life and death. Working in watercolor, pen and ink, colored pencil, and digital media, she creates detailed, expressive imagery that often reflects on nature and human emotion through a quiet, observational lens. She holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Austin Peay State University. Her current series, created digitally in Procreate, includes Survival (fox), Fragility (rabbit), and Myth (pegasus), where silhouetted forms reveal skeletal structures to explore themes of mortality, resilience, and imagination.

Alexis was born and raised in the beautiful woods of middle Tennessee. She attended high school in Lyles, Tn and loves all things nature. From an early age, Alexis had high interests in an artistic approach on life. At age 12 she started making colorful cakes in her parents home and turned it into a business. She also made paintings and crafts which she would go on to sell as well. Her pursuit of an artistic life developed in many ways throughout the years working for bakeries making cakes of irrefutable talent that was sought out by celebrities of Nashville.
In 2020 she had more time at home than what was affordable as did so many people. In order to make money she decided to put her skills to use and make face masks for income as they were scarce for a time.
‘This experience encouraged the thought of opening her own small business where she could pursue her love of art, nature, and all things whimsical with an open heart and full time commitment. Since the start of her business “Beneath Twisted Ferns” in 2020, She has created over 50 murals all across Tennessee, countless window art installations for small businesses, and dozens of unique personal artworks in a variety of medias. She has also hosted a great deal of painting classes in hopes to share her love with art with others and help them find confidence in themselves through the practice of painting.

Crevan Grey, fantasy artist and author is one of the artists currently on display as a part of the Secrets of the Forest Realm exhibit.

"Fantasy has always been an escape for me, but now, grown and having to look at the world more, I seek to bring that fantasy into reality. My work often contains either fantastical elements or leans heavily into timeless nature. My hope for you is that you find at least one piece of art that speaks to you, taking you into another world for a time!" -Crevan

Mariah is a Memphis native, now located in Nashville, TN, where she is the mom of two young girls and an art teacher whose passion is sharing her work with the world. She often incorporates nature into her whimsical colorful characters. In addition to watercolor and acrylic, Mariah has found a love for painting with coffee and tea. She has been featured in magazines such as Nashville Voyager and has had her art displayed on billboards across Tennessee.

You can see her work on display now through May 31st.
