🍂 Grief Support Group Returns This Fall 🍂

The museum is honored to once again host our Grief Support Group during the months of October and November. As the seasons change and we move into a time of reflection, we invite anyone navigating loss to join us in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Whether your loss is recent or many years old, this group offers an opportunity to connect with others, share experiences, and find comfort in community.
No one should have to walk the journey of grief alone.
Thursdays from 3-4:30pm

October - 15th, 22nd, & 29th
November - 5th, 12th, & 19th

Grief can feel heavy and isolating, but healing begins when we share, listen, and support one another. This group offers a safe, welcoming space to connect with others who understand.

The Clarksville Regional Museum is noting the exceptionally low water levels across Buggs Island and the Roanoke River this week. These conditions are revealing shoreline features, structures, and natural formations that are rarely visible. uncovering stretches of shoreline that haven’t seen daylight in decades. Old stumps, rock beds, forgotten coves — the lake is showing us its bones.

We’re inviting the community to help us record this moment:

• Have you seen the lake reach levels like this in previous years?
• Do you have photographs from past low‑water events?
Found anything surprising or cool while walking the exposed areas?

Drop your pictures and stories below — let’s document this moment together and celebrate the discoveries popping up around our hometown.
