The Clarksville Regional Museum is noting the exceptionally low water levels across Buggs Island and the Roanoke River this week. These conditions are revealing shoreline features, structures, and natural formations that are rarely visible. uncovering stretches of shoreline that haven’t seen daylight in decades. Old stumps, rock beds, forgotten coves — the lake is showing us its bones.
