Stop at Heartland Museum between May 27 and June 6th - to view over 200 of our teddy bears for free! (They are in the community room) Choose your favorite bear and there are coloring pages for the kids. Turn the colored pages back in to Heartland by June 6th - winner can take home a bear! The rest of our bears can be viewed in the museum for normal admittance fees.)

Summer hours start this week, on Wednesday! Don't forget - we are having a week long celebration with a Mini Teddy Bear Reunion in our community room - free to come in and look! bring your own Teddy for photos. There are also bears left in the Teddy Bear Museum, which is part of the normal museum tour, and has an entrance fee.

May 23rd - coffee and sweets volunteer appreciation from 9 am-11a m. We have a great need for new volunteers! It's easy - can be fun - and much appreciated! Ayone 16 or older is welcome to stop out and learn about this opportunity!

MAY 23 - Volunteer Appreciation! We'll be having coffee & sweets (free) from 9-11 for all volunteers -past, new this year, or just thinking about it! This is a good time to stop out and see how easy it is to Volunteer at Heartland Museum. We need volunteers from 10 am- 1 pm to greet visitors. You will be working with a board member. We also need help for events! Pick and choose your dates and times. Heartland Museum brings visitors to Clarion - your time in helping the Museum makes an impact. Stop in May 23 to learn more - or feel free to call us, or stop in Monday-Friday, 8:30-11:30 to talk to us (usually someone is there during these hours!)

We recently received a scrapbook dating from 1944-1952, of articles from the newspapers. All of these articles seem to be of people from Clarion! It is quite an assortment - weddings, golden anniversaries, obituaries, graduation, college, weather, market, sports, schools.....and on and on!

If you have someone or interest from that era, stop in during our open hours. The scrapbook is in our historical library. Anyone visiting just the library can come in for free to do research.

You'll want to snap the QR codes to read about our great displays, watch videos, and take selfies! You will step back in time and see how our ancestors lived.
