🚗 A Blast from the Past! 🕰️

What a fun day at the Jefferson County Museum! We loved seeing Main Street in Clancy lined with classic cars as the club came to visit the museum. 🚘✨

It truly was a trip down memory lane as everyone reminisced, shared stories, and discovered photographs that brought back wonderful memories of their days working for the railroad. 📸🚂

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and great memories shared—and we were so happy to be a part of it!

Thank you for visiting and making it such a memorable day! We had a blast and are already looking forward to seeing everyone again next year! ❤️

🧶✨ What a Great Day of Knitting! ✨🧶

We had such a wonderful time at our Beginner Knitting Class at the Jefferson County Museum on Saturday, August 1st!

It was a great day of learning the basics, practicing stitches, sharing laughs, and having fun together. 🧵❤️

A BIG thank you to our wonderful instructor, Tammie Chenoweth, for sharing her time, knowledge, and knitting skills with us! And thank you to everyone who joined us and made the class so much fun. We loved seeing new knitters pick up their needles and give it a try!

Jefferson County Museum Support Staff

The Jefferson County Museum is seeking a friendly, dependable, and visitor-focused individual to join our team as Museum Support Staff. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming, educational, and enjoyable experience for every visitor. The ideal candidate enjoys working with the public, communicates effectively, and brings a positive, professional attitude to the museum environment.
This is a part-time position averaging approximately 8 hours per month. Museum Support Staff assist with the day-to-day operations of the museum by welcoming visitors, providing exceptional customer service, maintaining clean and inviting exhibit spaces, supporting educational programs and special events, assisting with exhibit preparation and care, and performing other duties as assigned by the Museum Director(s). Work hours are scheduled as needed during regular museum operating hours. Availability to work Saturdays is required. Starting salary is $18.29 per hour.
