As many of you know I've been part of Beast Women for a very long time. Jill Erickson is one of the people that gave me my first chances as a story teller. And eventually that led to story tellingg at Steppenwolf
Theatre, Second City and I even have a story recorded at the United States Library of Congress. Beast Women is and has been a vital part of the scene for the past 20 years. The opportunities for performing artists across the board has been Jill's contribution to ultimately the world. Now is your chance to help us preserve stage performers. Catherine O’Hara has died.

The Canadian actress's manager confirmed to PEOPLE on Friday, Jan. 30, that the comedy icon, known for roles in films like 'Beetlejuice,' 'Home Alone' and Christopher Guest mockumentaries like 'Best in Show,' died at age 71. No further details were shared.
