Homecoming is an exhibition created by artists, Ronise Doss andWilliam Baker alongside the help of their loved ones who have
experienced incarceration. Homecoming transforms the typical American family home setting and ideals into a space that activates healing, understanding, hope, and community. This
transformation is created with a collection of artworks
documenting Black people’s experiences navigating the justice system disguised as home decor. Homecoming calls upon pop art and prison culture for an artistic engagement with
architecture that encourages the viewer to challenge the
security they know and wake up to the truth.

He has crafted award-winning exhibits and engineered creative projects for over 25 years. Classes Event Info: Day 1 Still life drawing - Practice drawing funky artist sculptures Drawing fruit, flowers, and soup cans are boring. Instead, we will be drawing funky sculptures in the gallery in charcoal and pencil. Paper and pencils will be provided but feel free to bring your own. Day 2 Life drawing - Draw a semi-nude model Drawing the human figure takes time and practice… a lot of it. We will be drawing the female model in 1-30 minute poses.
