Rev. Dr. Stanley Keeble and the entire Board and Staff of the Chicago Gospel Music Heritage Museum honor the life and legacy of our Board Chairman, Rev. Dr. Clay Evans, who transitioned from labor to reward on November 27, 2019. Rev. Dr. Evans was an integral part of the Museum's governing body who wholeheartedly supported its founder Rev. Dr. Keeble in the quest to bring this museum into fruition. He was also a legend in Chicago gospel music, as well as an anointed pastor, preacher and prognosticator of the Gospel. He will forever live in our hearts and his spirit will forever reside in every fiber of the Chicago Gospel Music Heritage Museum! Prayers and condolences to his lifelong companion Mrs. Lutha Mae Evans, as well as his children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, the flock at Fellowship, and our Director Rev. Dr. Keeble, who is a beloved Son of Rev. Dr. Evans. May God comfort each of your hearts as He welcomes His beloved Son home!
