❂ Our Divination Soiree tonight is our time to come together as a community and embrace the magic all around. The evening festivities run from 5-9p with plenty of ways to embrace the solstice energy.

Our Summer Solstice market is just one week away! 🍓 The Strawberry Moon Market falls on the full moon and will be our biggest market of the summer! We will be celebrating the astrological move into summer in true Sideshow fashion with a beautiful outdoor market with our favorite Chicago creators and out of town special guests!
We will have everything from one-of-a-kind jewelry and flesh floral bouquets, to ceramics and leather crafts! Come celebrate the arrival of summer with all your friends and favorite witches!

The next workshop we are so excited to host for our Merchant and the Seeker Solstice Celebration is Unshaming the Signs with . 🌟 Join us on June 22nd from 2-4p to reframe the astrological archetypes you have been living under.
If you have been in the shop looking for guidance from the stars, we have more than likely recommended one of her workbooks to you. Britten is the acclaimed author behind Living the signs workbooks and Living Astrology and the visionary behind Emergence Astrology.

In the spring of 2023, Britten LaRue first introduced her framework Unshaming the Signs. Britten came onto the idea as she noticed that the number one burden her clients and students carry is shame. And that if we come to the chart looking for problems with who we are, we will surely find them. By unshaming the signs, we begin to disrupt patterns of seeing the world and ourselves through the lens of shame, and become more available to receiving the wisdom of the planets.

In this workshop, Britten lays out the philosophical foundations of this framework, which encourages you to see yourself as all 12 signs. The signs can act as clues to help us notice the ways that shame can hide itself. If we think of the signs as different parts of ourselves and how we show up in the world, each is a facet for shame to thrive, consciously or unconsciously.

For the first workshop we will offer at our Summer Solstice Celebration, Allison Kaylor of , creator of the Gem Essence Oils and The Color Vision Oracle Deck will be hosting a unique color magic workshop, Color and the Chakras. 🌈
Working with colors is really about learning how to read energy. Developing our knowledge of Color Healing energetics helps to decipher the signs and enhance our own frequency.
In this workshop we will learn about our own personal chakra story and identify which chakra you are currently working with for the year based on your age. We will also discuss 7 main energy centers within, their correspondence to the body, organs, as well as the main themes of each layer and how they manifest throughout our lives. We will discuss their connection to sound and the corresponding musical notes, as well as the solfeggio frequencies thru tuning forks.

We would like to introduce you all to our newest coven member ! 🌊 Heather is here for a few more months before she takes off to live out her perfumery dreams in Paris, but since she has been with us she has been rocking out our TikTok, helping us manage our events, and keeping us smelling wonderful! We are very excited to have Heather with us… even if it’s for a few short months!

It’s clear when your Sun sign is Cancer because you are constantly surrounded by water! Heather is our local scent witch! She will be leaving to study perfumery in France this fall but will be spending the summer at Sideshow. As a Scorpio Rising and Capricorn Moon she loves organizing and will make the most out of any situation. When she is not with the Coven, she is consulting small business on people culture and strategy, knitting, reading a fantasy novel, (romantacy, let’s be real) or hanging out with her little kitty familiar Saydee and her husband!
