Exhibiting Artist Highlight: Margaret Dyer

Margaret Dyer has colorfully expressed her fascination with the “continuously moving landscape of the human body” through the mediums of oil and pastel over the last three decades.

“Creating art has been a continual voyage for me. Learning how to draw: perspective, anatomy, value, color. Learning how to paint: composition, simplifying shapes, mixing colors, brush technique.
I am still eager to learn more. Art has main focus in my life, something grounding when life doesn’t make sense. I a, trying to craft something of beauty; something of the beautiful light and color around us.” - Margaret Dyer

“Everyone has a story to tell. Everyone wants to tell it. And everyone loves a story told well. Artist’s are no different. They have just chosen to tell a story in a slightly different way.” - Diana Cutrone
