We’re excited to partner with the Creative Discovery Museum to bring a piece of towing history to Chattanooga families!
Now through September 2nd, visitors can explore our special exhibit, The History of the Toy Tow Truck, featuring artifacts from the International Towing & Recovery Museum’s collection.
Museum Archivist Lindsey Johnson states, “The exhibit is about the history of the toy tow truck. One case focuses on the past (1920s–1960s era), and the other case represents the present (1970s–today). In the exhibit, we focus on three major manufacturing methods: die-cast, pressed metal, and plastics.”
