Wow! What happened to Spring???
The sun is out with a very beautiful sky but it is a bit cool out today and looks like it will be for the next few days.
The flowers are hanging on and doing all they can. There are a few flowering bushes that are showing off their beauty.
Come and walk the Gardens and enjoy being outside (while observing social distancing). There are garden maps out front and a place to drop in your fee/donation.
We will let you know about upcoming events. We have plans for another BBQ Chicken dinner on June 20 and as of now we are expecting to do Take out only again but if things open up we should be able to do some eat in groups. Tickets will go on sale within the next week or so. Mark your calendar!

It is wet and very windy here at the Gardens this morning. The Gift Shop/Office is open but we do not recommend taking a walk in the Gardens today! With so many trees, it is always a possibility of falling limbs so even our workers don't like to be out there on a day like today! Be safe and careful today.

Love this garden. It is a magnificent one tucked here in southern Virginia. For me it a great place for reflection and quietude... I love the wall. I call it the star gate wall. Picture taken right at dust.
Gretchen was outstanding
Looks like a perfect day and look at where it is!
