I would like to introduce myself and my artwork which consists of Montana wildlife and the beauty around us. she began her desire for art at a young age, at the age of 23, however, being a wife, mother and working, I was forced to put it on hold till 2022.
She was always around artwork as a child watching my mother who did all kinds of art, pottery, acid etching, Native American etc. and at 97 is still producing beautiful artwork. She picked up her desire for art from her mother.

She has had my artwork on display at Sandpiper Art Gallery in Polson, Mt. I find painting the beauty of Montana surrounding us relaxing, and with its snow capped mountains, lakes, streams and wildlife brings about a peaceful joy.

She will be here on September 5th for our First Saturday Event!

Born and raised in Ronan, Mr. Decker has had a keen interest in the sports history of the school and community. During a coaching career that spanned forty years, Decker coached boysโ€™ and girlsโ€™ basketball, cross country, and track. He was named Montanaโ€™s โ€œCoach of the Yearโ€ in girlsโ€™ basketball and cross county four times by the Montana High School Association. He remains active in Ronanโ€™s sports scene by volunteering time in numerous sports. He previously published overtime a history of Ronan High school girlsโ€™ and boysโ€™ basketball in 1990.

โ€œIf the Bobcats are a โ€˜Wonder Teamโ€™, so is Ronan (Daily Missoulian, February,1929). Playing in a era when basketball competition was not divided into classifications based on enrollment, Ronan took on schools representing communities as small as Lone Pine and as large as Missoula and Kalispell without tasting defeat during the 1928-1929 regular season. Numerous adjectives such as speedy, slick, and clever were used to describe the quintโ€™s relentless offensive style of play. Playing conditions and rules were much different at the time and the author provides an in-depth account of the history of the Montana High School Association and Montana Officialโ€™s Association in this work.

Natalie Raffield was born in South Africa and now lives in Polson, Montana. Natalie opened her own gallery in South Africa and donated pastel and acrylic works to wildlife preservation organizations, including David Shepherd's Wildlife Artist of The Year.
Natalie has implemented 18 public art projects in Polson and now with her non-profit, Art In Polson wishes to bring more art to Polson. 2027 projects include a new Lake City Bakery Mural, The Durham mural and Flathead Lake Museum mural.
She believes that artists working together will inspire the community to create and appreciate art.

As an Artist, she have sold her handmade beaded jewelry to stores, state parks, museums, and individual customers all across America over the last 45 years. She works with dentalium shells, antler, bone, buffalo horn, porcupine quills and all kinds of beads. Her work is unique, yet traditional; stylish, yet contemporary. Take your choice. Celebrated writer, speaker and singer Bonnie Jo Hunt (Wicahpi Win, Star Woman, Hunkapa Lakota) is the author of many books, including Lone Wolf Clan Books, a historical series of ten novels she co-wrote with her husband Lawrence J. Hunt.

She will be her at our First Saturday Event on August 1st singing traditional songs from various tribes and reading from her book Raven Wing at 11 AM to 12 PM, and again from 3:30 PM to 4 PM.
