𝙎𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙨𝙣'𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙮𝙚𝙩 𝙖𝙩 𝙉𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙥𝙞𝙥𝙚𝙨 𝙈𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙪𝙢!

Watching these tiny goslings paddle along while the turtles sunbathe on the logs is the perfect reminder to slow down and enjoy the simple things.

As summer quickly approaches, the animals are getting ready for the change of season, and so are we! Starting next week, June 2nd, we switch to our summer hours and will be open Tuesday-Sunday from 10-5. Make sure to stop by!

“On June 5th, there will be a presentation of the Cheff & Byrd family history film at the Ronan Middle School Fine Arts Center, filmed by Frank Tyro, a long-time supporter of Ninepipes Museum. Our founders Bud & Laurel Cheff will be in attendance.

The film carries pieces of these families, our community, and the lives of those who came before us. It reflects stories, memories, and connections that feel important to preserve and pass on.

This updated version includes many additions, adjustments, and a deeper understanding of how the stories and histories connect. This project has continued uncovering and piecing together important details and relationships, and the project has grown significantly.

This spring moisture has brought new life to our beautiful Nature Trail. This small 5 min. walk has a stunning view of the Mission Mountains and numerous plants and animals to enjoy. Stop by and browse the giftshop, visit our museum, and go for a relaxing walk on the Nature Trail!

𝙉𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙥𝙞𝙥𝙚𝙨 𝙈𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙪𝙢 𝙤𝙛 𝙀𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙮 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙖:

This spring Ninepipes Museum was able to provide Indigenous cultural performances to local community youth organizations and schools, supported in part by a grant from the Montana Arts Council, an agency of State Government. The MAC Strategic Investment Grant provided honorarium funds for cultural presenters, enriching museum visits with stories, drumming, and hoop dancing. Young children and youth participated in the experience, learning dance steps and asking questions about the meaning of the dance. This project invests in living art forms while providing students formative arts education experiences that reflect Montana’s cultural diversity. Thank you Montana Arts Council!

Kira Fercho is our featured artist for "A Day of Art" event on May 30th, here at Ninepipes Museum. Her paintings are featured in 6 national galleries, 2 museums, and the White House. Her artwork is owned by everyday people as well as celebrities Emily Lou Harries, Karen Pence, and Dan Rather. Kira's work is also promoted by Cowboy & Indians Magazine, Western Home Journal, and Big Sky Journal.
