Charleston Heritage Symposium 2018 Charleston Heritage Symposium: "Charleston Entertains: Then and Now," March 16-18, 2018 This year, we are delighted to present two Keynote Speakers.

We look forward to welcoming you to the 2015 Charleston Heritage Symposium! Limited to 80 patrons, the Symposium offers a delightful fall weekend in this historic South Carolina seaport renowned for its landmark buildings, magnificent homes and gracious hospitality. Join us as we examine some of the diverse cultures that made Charleston such a cosmopolitan city in the 18th and early 19th centuries

: British, French Huguenot, Jewish, African, German and Italian. On Friday evening, we will welcome Dr. Tessa Murdoch, FSA, Deputy Keeper, Department of Sculpture, Metalwork, Ceramics, and Glass at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. We are honored to have Mr. William G. Allman, Curator of the White House, open our Saturday program. As the Charleston Heritage Symposium tends to sell out quickly, you are encouraged to sign up early.
