The Paintbrush Studio Provide a fun and interesting way to learn how to enjoy making art! Tuesday - Linda Conner teaches her acrylic painting classing with two different options.

The first starts at 1p and runs through 3:30p. The second class begins at 6p and runs through 8:30pm. This class is $15.00 plus supplies and allows you to paint anything you'd like. Wednesday - You can learn how to use your digital SLR camera by taking a digital photography class with Laura Moul. This class runs for three straight weeks, then starts over. Laura strives to help students learn to us

e their digital cameras (SLR or Point and Shoot) more effectively. The class covers camera fundamentals, file management, and photo editing. She is nationally certified by the Professional Photographers of America and holds Master of Photography and Craftsman Photographer degrees. At 6p Gerry Enrico teaches a drawing class. This class is for anyone 10 an up and you can use charcoal, pencil, or colored pencil. This class is $16 plus supplies. Gerry is originally from the Philippines, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Northern Philippines. He has worked as a graphic artist and illustrator in the Philippines and California. Gerry 's greatest strength and talent is in portraiture, making his living on commission portraits and classes around the tri-state area. He is the artist in residence at Gallery409 in Point Pleasant, WV. In his class, Gerry works with beginning, intermediate and advanced drawing techniques using graphite, charcoal, pastels and colored pencils. I am sadly (and happily) announcing that the Paintbrush Studio is moving to Florida about the middle of May. All classes will continue until the last few days. The studio will go with me, Linda Conner, and I will be painting down there in the sunshine and will still post my paintings on Facebook. It's sad for me to do this, but I really want to retire and have the time to paint and I'm COLD in WV!! Looking forward to warm, sunny days by the pool with paintbrush in hand. I've bought a wonderful house and I'm anxious to get into it. A major amount of work is ahead for me but I'm determined.

Today's Oil Painting Workshop taught by Larry Bragg. Seven people attended and all of them had beautiful paintings. Next oils workshop, April 30. We will be painting a poppy. These are digital paintings done by Das Menon. Das will be teaching this class on Weds. evenings 6-8:30 starting March 1. The landscape painting is so good, it looks like a photograph and the other is a self-portrait in which he is admonishing me for being so late getting the word out! Das is an incredible artist.
