The Chanute Art Gallery will be open on Saturday during Artist Alley, 9 to 4:00.
Stop in to see our current show, "Living...Language...Land," a traveling exhibit of studio art quilts by the SAQA, Studio Art Quilt Associates regional group encompassing Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.
In addition, we have a gallery of pieces from our permanent Core Collection, and, in cooperation with the Safari Museum, a gallery of mud cloth pieces from Mali in northern Africa.

"The Chanute Art Gallery Craft Group is hosting a remembrance event for Ann Neff. Anyone who learned to knit, spin, or kumihimo from Ann might enjoy this. Anyone who enjoyed spending time with Ann might enjoy this. What better way to celebrate Ann’s life! Mark your calendar, bring your craft to work on and visit with others who knew Ann. Artist friends--

We would like to invite you to participate in our July show at The Chanute Art Gallery. It is to be a themed show, "Nature," which encompasses a vast range of genres and subjects that can be submitted.
There is no charge for entering, and you may offer your pieces for sale. We are asking that it be original artwork which has not been exhibited at the Art Gallery in the past three years, but you can enter up to six pieces.
For further information, see the attached information sheet and entry form. Feel free to forward this information on to others who might be interested in participating also.
We are looking forward to seeing how you interpret the theme, and the diversity of media and subjects!
