The Chandler Museum is an innovative learning environment where the community comes together to share our stories, store our cultural heritage and experience Chandler as a people and place. The vision of the Museum is to be the community’s principal resource to explore its people’s history, culture, and their place in the rapidly changing world of today.

Celebrate Flag Day by visiting our newest exhibit, 27 Flags: Our History Through Stars and Stripes 🇺🇸

Starting June 10, all the flags in “27 Flags: Our History Through the Stars and Stripes,” will be on display together at the Chandler Museum 🇺🇸

The exhibit represents the evolution of our nation’s flag, with historical facts accompanying each one. The complete collection of flags will be on display at the Chandler Museum through June 30.

After the All-American Bash on July 4, the flags will go back to the 14 locations around Chandler, including libraries, recreation centers, Vision Gallery and Chandler Museum. For a full list of locations, visit chandleraz.gov/America250

Calling all community-based artists - apply today for our Community Art Engagement Pre-Qualified List! Artists on this list may be hired to create participatory art activities at community events in Chandler in 2026-27. The deadline is Monday, June 22!

More info:
• Artists of all kinds are welcome - visual artists, dancers, musicians, theatermakers, and more.
• This is a Request for Qualifications, meaning you'll apply with past projects
• Artists who were selected for the 2025-26 list do not need to apply again
• There is no limit to how many artists can be added to the list, and several will be hired for projects with budgets ranging from $1,000-$3,000
