All aboard for Saturday! 🚂 Today the museum was full of little engineers and big imaginations. Kids lined the rails to watch the trains roll by, played at the train tables, and explored rows and rows of trains, while our members shared the history and the hobby they love. 🎃

🎃🚂 Spooky season has pulled into the Central Railway Museum! Casey Bones has reported for duty, so stop by and say hi (he's a little shy, but he never misses a shift). 💀

As usual, our members were busy keeping everything running. We're already planning for the Expo, and out in the trailer we're making sure everything fits with the new modules we're building and repairing. 👻

What a day of learning on the rails! 🚂

A big thank-you to the Choice Homeschool group from the Anderson area for spending the day with us at the Central Railway Museum, and to Operation Lifesaver for teaching kids of all ages how to stay safe around tracks and trains.

Students and families explored our layouts up close, watched trains run, and learned how railroads really work: signals, switches, freight cars, and the crews that keep everything moving. Our volunteers loved answering every question, from the youngest engineers to the grown-ups.

Operation Lifesaver's message is one everyone should hear: See Tracks? Think Train! Stay off the tracks, cross only at marked crossings, and always expect a train.

Railroads built towns like Central, and they still shape our community today. Days like this help the next generation understand that story, and stay safe while they enjoy it.

CRMHA was out in the community at the Greer Rail Fest! We had the Danbridge Loop layout and a Thomas layout for the kids, talked rail safety, sold a few items, and had a great time with the kids and the Greer community. Thank you, Greer!
